Folks confronting the risk of #HIV acquisition in Washington State have a new tool in their quiver, that might not cost them anything! “Treatment As Prevention” is alive and well on the west coast, apparently without regard (at least currently) to income levels.
To qualify one must:
- Be HIV negative
- Live in Washington state.
- Meet one of the following risk factors:
- Have a known HIV-positive partner or partners, or
- Be a gay or bisexual man who lives in an area of high HIV prevalence, has been diagnosed with a sexually transmitted infection (STI) in the past year, has been exposed to a sexually transmitted infection (STI), has had 10 or more sexual partners in the past year, has used meth in the last year, or has had condomless sex in the past year
