Venus-Thomas C. Hinyard

Venus-Thomas Hinyard is a writer, performer, artist, and advocate living in Washington, D.C., from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her work has appeared in Mused Magazine Online and This Bridge Called Our Health. She has performed at Busboys & Poets, The DC Center for the LGBT Community, and was humbled to give a tribute performance to Ernest Gaines. Venus’s work explores truth-telling navigation and limitless intersections of living as a Black, queer, non-binary trans womyn.
